The Southeast

I'm going to the Southeast! I really want to go to te Appalachian Trail. I also might visit th Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean. I know there is good soil so they have farming. But is the farming more important to the Midwest or the Southest? For resources I want to learn about the cottons, peanuts, and cash crops. I also want to sail to the barrier islands. Did I tell you I also want to go to the Everglades? I don't know so much about the Southeast. So I would love if people would give me some ideas where to go. Anyway I hope you are excited as I am.
